Meet Lynda S. Parker

Lynda Parker received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Tulsa University in 1994 and her law degree from Emory University of Law in 1997. She is licensed in Georgia and is admitted to practice in the Georgia State Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (Workers' Compensation and Health Law Sections) and the Atlanta Bar Association (Workers' Compensation Section).


Prior to starting her own law practice, Mrs. Parker worked at major Atlanta defense firms, primarily representing employers and insurance companies in all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation and claims management. She has taken hundreds of depositions and presented numerous cases before the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation. 


She has also argued appeals before the Appellate Division of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation and various Superior Courts throughout Georgia. Additionally, she has successfully resolved hundreds of cases through mediation and settlement. Prior to focusing her practice in the area of workers’ compensation, Mrs. Parker worked at a full-service law firm in Atlanta, practicing in the areas of general insurance defense, commercial litigation, and family law.
